The nurse practitioners are able to assess/test and diagnose patients. If the practitioner’s schedule allows for an add-on medical service, this may be possible, pending their availability.
Due to the length of time spent with each patient, ease of scheduling, and nature of our practice, we do not bill insurance for visits. However, we do bill your insurance for any labs that are drawn or processed including urine cultures, strep cultures, and bloodwork. There is a cost associated with collecting specimen(s) and for the visit with our provider.
Genitourinary symptoms, STI symptoms, upper respiratory symptoms including cough, congestion, & throat pain, earwax impactions, ear pain, headache; refills for certain pre-existing conditions including hypertension & hyperlipidemia.
Strep, COVID, flu, urine dip. Each of these in-office ‘rapid’ tests are an add-on to the appointment cost.
It is office policy that we do not prescribe benzodiazepines or opioid-based pain medications at this time.
Although the majority of our providers are certified family nurse practitioners and have the training / credentials to assess young children, due to the nature of our office environment, we do not see children younger than 14 years of age.

These panels can be ordered to Labcorp, Quest OR you can schedule a convenient appointment at our Madison office to have your blood drawn. ($50 draw fee applies)
